First Photo shoot

Here I visited an abandoned fire station near warrington after looking up on google iconic buildings that had been abandoned I thought this would kickstart my body of work as there seemed to be a lot to photograph and document, after researching Nikis work I was inspired in the way he viewed abandoned buildings, during this photo shoot I had to constantly look around and mark and significant evidence into what the place used to be like and what happened to it,

I was really impressed with this location as I got to see the whole of the building as most abandoned places are secured or either bordered up,Most of this fire station was burnt down so it was easy to access.Most of my images are of graffiti or of the place being demolished with the the odd random object lying around as you can see in one of my images there is a boat in the yard,its amazing how our goverment treat and just leave buildings like this to rot .

I decided to add an HDR filter onto most of my images I did this because of the textures within abandoned buildings I think personally that the HDR filter makes the image pop adding more depth of filed and better contrast .
